Please find attached details of Polegate Grasshoppers 2024 Tournament, which will celebrate Polegate’s 40^th Anniversary.

 

As with previous years tournaments, academy teams, and in addition teams in JPL leagues, will be excluded from our tournament, even if they are FA affiliated.

 

As in our previous tournaments the U9 age group will now be competitive, U7 and U8 will remain non-competitive and all players will receive a token of the day, all other age groups will play to a final. 

 

New for 2024 will be girls only groups which will have their own dedicated sections.

 

New also for 2024 we will be utilising an app to update you about scores, group placing and semi-final and final placings.

 

We will deal with all entries on a first come basis, as in previous years all teams will be confirmed on receipt of the entry form and appropriate payment, please do not ask to confirm the place if you have not paid the fee. We will update our spaces after the entry closing date and when appropriate. We now only accept payment by BACS. 

 

Our tournament has been oversubscribed in certain age groups in previous seasons and we are anticipating another busy year, so to avoid disappointment we suggest an early reply. 

 

It is almost certain that our mailing list is slightly out of date, should we have sent this email to the wrong person, please could you forward it to the appropriate person in your club and if you wish to be removed from our database, please reply to this email with the subject line as Remove Mailing List.
